International Fine Cocoa Conference 2017

The Caribbean Fine Cocoa Forum (CFCF) and UWI’s Cocoa Research Centre (CRC) are co-jointly hosting the next International Fine Cocoa Innovation Center (IFCIC) Conference and Symposium on Monday & Tuesday, February 6th & 7th at the Spanish Court Hotel in New Kingston, Jamaica.
The Conference’s main theme is the application of innovative technologies to sustain the fine cocoa sectors. Key stakeholders along the cocoa value chain will present regional value-add initiatives and their plans for further transform the industry. Furthermore CRC’s latest research findings in relevant fields will be showcased such as a cocoa model orchard, flavor profiling and genetic finger printing.
The Conference is expected to attract between 100 and 150 participants from a diverse background along the cocoa value chain. It is the ideal opportunity to network and experience latest trends from Caribbean and international artisan Chocolatiers and innovators that currently shape the cocoa sector.
Registration will begin on November 1st 2016.
